I'm deeply fascinated by pictures of old abandoned buildings. For places like this, it's as if life just ceased one day, and everyone disappeared. Artifacts are left behind; pictures are still hanging on the walls; once-valuable documents litter the floor. But the questions always remain: What's the story behind each of these abandoned places? And why are they still here for us to wonder about and explore?
